A Wicked Saturday

A Wicked Saturday

As soon as I heard that Wicked was coming to Christchurch, I got so excited and knew that I had to go. So, in the end, my sister, her husband, our parents and my boyfriend Brad decided to go together.

I was also due for my Mecca Cosmetica Beauty Loop Makeover, so I booked in for that on the afternoon of the show and then my Mum and Sister decided to get there's done, which was $90 which is redeemable on products so I think that is a really good deal as you only need to buy a couple of products to make it worth it.

I had a wonderful lady doing mine, she was really good about my extra dry, sensitive skin. I also loved how I left looking like myself. The makeup wasn't caked on and my mum and sister also looked great. I can't remember the ladies at Mecca Cosmetica in Balanyanes enough, they are amazing!

I also decided to treat myself to a couple of the products she used on me and I also picked up one of my favourites, which is the NARS Smudge Proof Eyeshadow Base. This has been in my beauty bag for years. I picked up the Ren EverCalm Gentle Cleansing Milk, which was so soft and gentle on my skin, one of the few that I have used since going on Roaccutane that didn't irritate my skin, so I had to get it. I also got the NARS blush in Orgasm, I actually can't believe that this is the first time I have used it as its so pretty on my skin. Lastly, I go the Bare Minerals Lash Domination Volumising Mascara.

After getting my makeup done it was time to decide what to wear and to be honest this took a while as I wasn't quite sure what look to go with. In the end, I went with my Witchery Coin Spot Dress in Midnight Blue as I've only managed to wear it one other time since getting it so I thought this would be a good opportunity to get it out.

I paired the dress with my leather jacket from ASOS and Danny Cross Body Bag from Witchery and I popped on my new Cher Dress Shoes in black from the NumerOneShoes, which only cost me $30 and are really comfortable!

It was such a fun night and the show was amazing, I really wish I could sing and dance and Brad did get stuck with me trying to do it after the show, poor guy! Honestly, if you get the chance to go while its here I highly recommend it xx.
