Everyday Makeup for Work
My focus on my makeup for work is my eyes; it used to be my lips as I am such a lipstick girl but since my lips are too dry for any lipstick I have started experimenting with my eyes. I got into putting different colours on my eyes after using the Too Faced Best Year Ever 2018 Palette, the colours are incredible, and you would have seen me mention it before in my January favourites.
I start by using Good Girl all over my lid, right up to the brow bone. Then I go into Coffee First and place this on the lower half of my lid, just up to the crease. I then get Snooze U Lose and place this into my crease and blend away. Somedays I will stop the eyeshadow here as its more of a soft natural look, but I have started loving adding colour, so I continue by adding in Good As Gold in the inner corner to the middle part of the lid. I then take Werk Shop into the middle and outer corner and softly blend them into the crease. Lastly, I take Rise & Shine into the corner of my eye and under the brow bone as a highlight. To finish off I do a line of liquid eyeliner, I'm not the best at applyinh this, so some days its thin and others it's quite a thick line. On my bottom lashes, I take Good As Gold and Werk Shop in the same order as on the top lid and then apply a couple of coats of Mascara. I'm currently loving the bareMinerals Lash Domination Mascara.
For my base I use Mecca Cosmetica To Save Face SuperScreen SPF50+, not only is this an incredible sunscreen but I find it's a perfect base for my foundation or tinted moisturiser. I always allow it to soak into my skin for 5 minutes before I put anything on top of it. I then used another one of my favourites, the NARS Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturiser. I put it on with a beauty blender as I love how it makes my skin look so natural. For my under eyes and scarring I use the bareMinerals Bare Skin Complete Coverage Serum, it hides my big black bags well and is also hydrating so it doesn't go flaky on my skin. To keep my makeup lasting all day I use the bareMinerals Original SPF15 Foundation as a powder. I love how it gives me a little bit more coverage, and I don't have to worry about touching up my makeup at work. For bronzer I use Natio, blush I used NARS Organism, highlighter was Benefits Watts Up. For my eyebrows, I used the Hour Glass Arch Brow Sculpting Pencil, along with the Arbonne Eyebrow Gel.
Lastly, if my lips aren't to dry I use my favourite lip tint, which is the Lanolips Tinted Balm in Nude, but most days I use the Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream. I would love to know your everyday makeup products xxx.
